Credit Card Merchant Account How it Works

1. Making a payment

A customer makes a payment with a credit card or debit card. The payment details are entered into the payment device or system. This could be your website,phone, entered by a call centre operator or any of the Flo2Cash payment channels.

2. Payment processing and authorisation

The payment requests are processed by Flo2Cash payment gateways which forward the requests onto the respective issuing banks to check the card cardholder's identity, that the account has sufficient funds and that the card hasn't been reported lost or stolen. This all happens within a matter of a second. The the Flo2Cash payment gateway returns the transaction result in real time back to the customer and you the merchant.

3. Settlement of funds

Your Flo2Cash online merchant account is credited with the value of the card transaction less any fees within 1-5 working days (depending on your agreement with us).

Already have a merchant account?

If you already have a merchant account with your bank, you can still use our payment gateway and other payment channels, including PCI DSS token billing for your credit card processing needs.
